A few months ago I had the amazing opportunity to take photos for a friend of mine that I've known since I was about 8 years old.
Emily is such a beautiful, unique, wonderful girl, which her wedding reflected as so.
She hand-wrote the programs, she found her dress at a thrift shop, her and her husband Eric washed each others feet during the ceremony, she wrote and sang a song for Eric, and she climbed over a fence and down a hill to a railroad tracks in a total Emily fashion (she even at one time took a little snake they found, and places it on her bouquet for a quick pictures,  which is 100% an Emily thing to do)
I was so happy to be able to capture some of these lovely moments for both Emily and Eric.

Thanks to the brilliant work of Briana at Lazzaroni Design, I finally have logos and watermarks! I'm so excited about using them on photos. They're chic and sophisticated, but just fun enough to capture my style. Make sure to check out Briana's work, especially if you have a creative project in mind. She's fantastic to work with, and gave me a plethora of options before we settled on these as finals. Definitely an up and coming designer with a lot of talent!

So...what do you think?

This year I had a fantastic experience.  I went on my first solo vacation!  I decided to head over to sunny California, since I had some wonderful friends there, along with knowing that there would be a few concerts I'd get to attend.
One of them being the Bro-Am, this is something I had longed for years to attend, and finally had the chance.
Here are some photos from that concert/surf contest
